FIELDWORK
& EXPLORATION
As part of my commitment to study and document species diversity, I have led or participated in dozens of expeditions in south America. Many of these expeditions were to remote sites in the Brazilian Amazonia and the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest. I have also participated in fieldwork in Vietnam, the Andes of Peru and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia

Participated in over 20 expeditions with three weeks or more in duration.

Coordinated expeditions to very remote sites in Brazil and Peru.

Organized and conducted over 11 expeditions to find one or more target species.

Fieldwork in six different countries (Brazil, French Guiana, India, Peru and Vietnam)

Participated in four expeditions fully supported by the National Geographic Society.
