Pedro Peloso is the founder of the Document Threatened Species Project (Projeto DoTS), a bold initiative to study, document and protect rare, poorly known and endangered species. 

The project focuses on little known and little appreciated creatures from Tropical rainforests and was established to help raise awareness about conservation.
